2025 EXHIBITION APPLICATION

2025 exhibition application for Art Center Ahjo is on. You can apply exhibition period for Sysi hall, Hehku room , Hiili room, Kyto/Liekki -media space.

We wish there would be primary audiovisual art in Kyto/Liekki-media space (various audio- and video installations, multimedia artwork).

Applications must be delivered as a single PDF-file with attachments and pictures by 24.3.2024, 11.00 PM.

Art Center Ahjo is located in downtown of Joensuu, in an idyllic Jugendstil wooden building, in the courtyard of Art Museum ONNI. There are over 10 000 visitors in Ahjo annually. There is also the first ever art lending service in Finland, Joensuun Taidelainaamo.

The Joensuu Artist Association doesn't collect commission of sales from an exhibition.

Sysi hall (163 m²) 1000,00 € (900,00 € for members) (Notice 600€ / 2 week period)

Hehku room (16 m²) 300,00 € (250,00 € for members) (Notice 200€ / 2 week period)

Hiili room (11 m²) 150,00 € (100,00 € for members) (Notice 100€ / 2 week period)

Kytö & Liekki -media space (22 m²) 350,00 € (300,00 € for members) (Notice 200€ / 2 week period)

Entire building (downstairs) 1800,00 € (1550,00 € for members)

Exhibitions are selected by the exhibition board. Selections are made in spring of 2024.
